Join us for a genuinely affordable afternoon event designed for and by queer people. Tickets start at £15 for the full afternoon! Create community, try new activities, dedicate time to your own self care in a space designed for you.
Activities include: Yoga, massage, arts and crafts, reiki, bodyweight circuit fitness, meditation and dance!​

Class Descriptions
​
Opening Circle
A chance to come together and settle into the space. We will provide some info about the day, and guide you through creating a concern surrender contract, setting intentions for the day, and invite you to reflect on what wellbeing means and looks like to you using some journal prompts. If time permits, we encourage you to use this time to engage with the 'conversation card' you will have been given at sign in.

‘Inspired Movement’ Dance
​A creative dance class for non-dancers to explore and express themselves. We'll hone a deep connection to our creativity through gentle prompts and playful activities. Shake off the doubts and move into total creative freedom with confidence.

Step into Mindfulness
A gentle introduction to mindfulness and meditation! We will explore a safe space resourcing meditation, a loving kindness metta meditation, and a deep listening exercise. Wrapped in gratitude throughout, come along for an opportunity for quiet, interoception, and being one with the people around us.

'Embodying Rage' Yoga
An exclusive QJM class that addresses our rage and doesn't ask us just to be calm when the world is falling apart. Explore what it looks and feels like to move through and with anger. Gently and compassionately explore where you hold anger, feel anger, direct anger, in a fully trauma informed space.

Small Group Reiki
A small group class for meditation and Reiki. We'll set soulful intentions and explore deep meditation. During that time Dianna will guide us into meditation and offer Reiki (no touch). Conversational reflection is welcome after. Reiki is an energy healing and holistic modality that brings more ease to body and mind.​

Storytelling for Queer Wellbeing
What stories have we been told about our queerness? What stories haven’t we been told? This Storytelling for Wellbeing session is a chance to playfully explore the worlds of fairytale, folklore and myth and collaborate to revive old stories, create new ones, and queer the quaint. Led by þ (Thorn), expect giggles, games, and guided play!

Bodyweight Fitness
A fun and easy intro to circuit training! Personal Trainer Alice invites you to dip your toes into FUN circuit training - energetic without being draining, easy and silly, explore body weight fitness.

“What’s actually going on for you?” - Facilitated Community Advice Session
Opening with guided reflection and discussion (facilitated by @TheQueerPioneer of Queer Digital Detox!), this debut of our new Community Advice Session ends with time for you to reflect on and talk through a particular issue you might like support with, in a small group setting. This is an ideal low-pressure talking space for people who want emotional support and connection (but maybe aren’t ready or can’t afford therapy!).

Write to an MP - Facilitated Crafts Table Session
Dip your toes into political engagement! Choose from various letter or email templates, and get engaged. Whatever you care about, make your voice heard in your local constituency.

Relaxing Trauma Informed Yin Yoga
A slow and gentle end to the day - a fully trauma informed and invitational yin yoga class to facilitate and encourage embodied rest. Perfect for beginners to yin yoga and those who struggle to rest, as well as those who are seasoned yin practitioners.

Holistic Massage
Low-cost thirty minute holistic massages from adrienne aka fallow hands. A gentle and collaborative approach to soothe your nervous system, connect with your body and ease aches and pains. Always inclusive and grounded in active consent.

Closing Circle
Join together to close the afternoon. We will guide you through a return to your intention, and invite you to reflect on your experiences through prompts for journal or other creative expression. We will consider how we might further introduce community care into our lives, and close the space with joy and hope.
